Our Services

Dr. Mark Kuprowski is a specialist in Clinical Immunology and Allergy. He practices primarily in London, Ontario, where he holds an academic appointment as an Associate Professor of Medicine. He also provides care through a satellite clinic in Sarnia, where he sees patients on a regular basis.

Dr. Kuprowski assesses and manages both pediatric and adult patients with a range of allergic and immune-mediated conditions, including environmental allergies, food allergies, contact allergies, atopic dermatitis (eczema), venom allergy, chronic urticaria (hives), and asthma. Patients with severe or difficult-to-control asthma may be seen through his Severe Asthma Clinic at St. Joseph’s Health Care London.

Treatment plans are individualized and may include allergen immunotherapy, offered as subcutaneous immunotherapy (SCIT) or sublingual immunotherapy (SLIT) when appropriate. Dr. Kuprowski also provides food desensitization for selected patients with allergies to peanut, tree nuts, sesame, milk, and egg, and has experience with the use of milk and egg ladders as part of a structured, evidence-based approach to food allergy management.

All treatments are offered based on clinical assessment and current evidence. Not all patients are candidates for immunotherapy or food desensitization, and the potential risks and benefits are reviewed in detail prior to initiating treatment. A referral from a primary care physician is required to be seen in clinic.
